These are all projects that I've done in classes at Purdue University.
The goal of this project was an introduction to Foley sound design. Taking analog sounds and making them into sound effects.
This project had a more open objective. My approach was to build as much as I could and to follow try to follow the cuts of the video as much as I could.
This project was a deeper dive into music theory. It made us think more "in tune" per say with the music and really pay attention to the nitty gritty of harmonies.
Throughout the course of the semester, this course is set up to mimic a real world situation where a sound designer is responsible for collaborating and creating with a choreographer from the Purdue Contemporary Dance Company and other sound designers. It is crafted in a way that provides great feedback from peers at time milestones throughout the course. For this project, I was collaborating with another sound designer.
This was a great opportunity to be a system consultant on a closed course. With this project, we took the bare bones of the Mallett Theatre at Purdue University and fitted it to our mock client's needs, fitting within their budget and taking into consideration the upmost capability requirements of the space. We needed to ensure that the system would best fit the space and the needs for the activities in the room.
